The brief
LiPA is a bespoke anaesthesia training programme based across central London and surrounding NHS hospitals, supporting doctors on the portfolio pathway to the GMC Specialist Register. The site needed to explain a complex programme credibly to trainees and faculty, showcase hospital partners and testimonials, and provide restricted areas for programme participants, not a public brochure alone. The site had to allow faulty members to track trainee progress as well as add their own notes, while providing a faculty area with useful links and resources. Trainees needed to be able to submit changes to their profile data, update their training progress as well as have access to a portal containing useful resources.
What we did
We built the site in WordPress with distinct public content and logged-in areas for trainees and faculty. Fluent CRM and Gravity Forms support communication, maintenance and contact management around programme enquiries and cohorts. Content includes accreditation details, rotation information, faculty profiles and rotating testimonials from trainees and trainers.
The programme has grown substantially since its early beginnings in 2021; the site structure has evolved with it while we continue to host and support the platform.
The result
A programme site that caters for trainees, faculty and visitors alike and reflects LiPA's ethos, personalised support rather than trainees as numbers, with practical portal functionality behind the scenes and Royal College of Anaesthetists accreditation called out clearly for prospective applicants.
